Flaches Design, klein und handlich. Auch als DVD Player zu benutzen. Grafik ist einwandfrei.

Fazit

Die überarbeitete Version der Playstation 2 im Slim-Format kann jedem empfohlen werden, der Action- und Rennspiele mit toller Grafik zum absoluten Hammerpreis spielen will.
Auch wenn die PS3 schon am Horizont auftaucht: Trotzdem - oder gerade deswegen - ist die PS2 Slim noch immer sein (weniges) Geld wert!

Was sind die Stärken?

Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
Immer noch eine der besten Konsolen, was die Grafik betrifft und die absolute Nummer 1, wenn es um die Anzahl der verfügbaren Spiele geht.
Nebenbei ist sie auch ein DVD-Player.
Und das Ganze ist in der Slim-Version unglaublich klein zusammengepackt.

Was sind die Schwächen?

Einzige Schwäche (wie bei der PS2 generell): bei manchen Spielen dauert das Laden und Speichern von Spielständen ziemlich lang.

Summary

well i had the original ps2 (the big black one) for 2years. but because it is now so poor at reading, it can only read damaged games. it is the same story with this one. it is 2years old and yet again i have started haveing reading problems. you clean the lense with a dry c.d. or dvd cleaner. but you will only get about 6mounths bofore cleaning the lense dosen't make any difrence.
memory cards are quite expensive.
the dvd player is infact quite poor to my sony dvd player which is 6 years old.
on the plus side it has alot more games than xbox. and better ones as well. like grand theft auto which always came out 6months bofor xbox. but then again it has games that are only on xbox like forza motorsport.
there are some sound problems on the ps2 version of NFSU2.

i do not reccomend this product as the ps3 is out.

compared to the x-box:
there is no cd burner, no built in memory, there are slightly poorer graphics and sound quality on the same games as the xbox
poor lazor quality

Sony has outdone itself once again. A fantastic gaming expereince with the playstaion 2 !

It rocks! I was happy with the playstation 1 but when i heard about he new model being released, I had to have it. Its one fourth the size and has all the features of the first...only better
